Our Process
Creating a shared vision together requires a process
-
Initial enquiry.
Every great project begins with understanding and transparency. Once we have received your initial enquiry, we will learn more about your project to ensure we are the right fit on both sides. If so, Alistair will make a time to meet you on site (Sydney metro area) to further discuss your project brief.
After that level of correspondence has taken place, a fee proposal tailored to your job, and outlining the scope of works, will be sent for your consideration.
-
Concept design.
After a site inspection , and a further detailed discussion about the brief, this will allow us to produce a concept drawing to layout the space and develop the initial tone of the project.
The concept drawings are detailed and will communicate the vision for the property and will develop further with basic elevation, material considerations and planting pallet.
-
Detailed drawings.
Once the concept phase has been completed, detailed drawings with additional relevant information may begin. Details including additional information for construction and council approval processes will be included.
The phase will confirm the schedule. It will also provide a clear direction for our trained staff and to you when it comes to the build process.
-
Construction.
This exciting process requires detailed planning to ensure the project draws together the best people and materials and remains within timeline expectations and budget. Building a garden is a craft, bringing horticultural knowledge through to complex engineering solutions and management of multiple trades.
-
Handover.
Once we’ve completed your project, it’ll be your’s to look after. We’ll provide you with all the necessary information you’ll need to keep your project looking great as it grows and changes with time. Our clients are a priority to us even after the job is completed and we will strive to adhere to your needs.
-
Maintenance.
Once your project has established, we can curate your project over time into the shared vision we built together.
